  Virginia Quay
Ardmore Construction Limited have been associated with the Barratt Virginia Quay development for some 10 years, first as a subcontractor and latterly as principle contractor in its own right. As such Virginia Quay represents a key stage in the development of the company, supported over main years by repeat business clients.

Our photographs illustrate some of the classical white early phases of the development, together with the latest project to provide accommodation for key workers on a shared ownership basis. This building is one of the last to be completed. It comprises 126 apartments in one block of seven storeys. It is constructed of a concrete frame of a raft foundation.

Barratt East London commissioned the block of flats for a housing association - The Toynbee Housing Trust - To provide accommodation for key workers such as teachers and nurses. There are no car parking spaces allocated to these units in line with current local government policy. The ground floor provides commercial units, a nursery and cycle storage. There is a child's play area and high quality external landscaping.
